Fresh Hop IPA | Beer Review

Tap Room Series – Fresh Hop IPA

Upslope’s Fresh Hop IPA is a limited release that was first seen at their 2nd Annual Backcountry Tap Room on October 1st. Alysia was able to make it to the event, however she was too late to try the Fresh Hop IPA. By a stroke of luck, I found it at a liquor store a few days later and couldn’t pass it up. So here is part two, a beer review, to accompany her event recap.

Visual: Pale gold

Aroma: Sweet and hoppy, with a hint of orange

Taste: Light and citrusy. It is surprisingly sweet, but not too much. Finishes with a mild bitterness. This is one of the first fresh hopped beers that I’ve tasted seriously and I really like the strong flavor that comes with it.

ABV: 7%

Overall Beer Rating:     8.5 spades out of 10
