Purloined Pearl Pale Ale- Beer Review

Second Guest Beer Review – Meg the Pale Ale Aficionado is back

Declaration Brewing’s Purloined Pearl Pale Ale does Make a Statement (edit: this is their motto, haha). Brewed in Denver, Colorado I chose this beer because I have not tried anything from Declaration yet and the can caught my eye.

Visual: Clear amber

Aroma: Hoppy with a hint of citrus. It almost has a heaviness to the scent.

Taste: Purloined Pearl has a hoppy richness to it. The first sip goes down easy, tasting of citrus, followed by the hops. While this has a smooth taste, I prefer a beer with a stronger flavor.

ABV: 4.5%

Over All Beer Rating:     7 out of 10 spades
